Don't really have anything to say. Just had to ask - don't you love American Idol? There are some real wacko people out there!!! I just love Simon. He always says exactly what I am thinking. The black 16 year old girl in the pink shirt last night was awesome. I think she will go far. Later. |

Wow, long weekend. Gotta love the football games. No more New England!!!!!!!
Yyyyeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really couldn't stand the idea of them going to the Super Bowl again. Maybe I'm just jealous cause the Browns never make it. Oh Well! But the Steelers game on the other hand was a serious breath taker. 2nd quarter - an obvious pass interferience call that wasn't made, that would have helped the Steelers!!! Then in the forth quarter - Polamalu makes an awesome interception, that is challenged and called back. What??? I don't usually pick on the refs and umpires, but I'm sorry, you had to be blind to not call that and interception. Would have wrapped the game up for them. Jerome Bettis - fumbled???????????? What was up with that? He never fumbles!! Then Big Ben makes a game saving tackle. If Ben hadn't been there that would have been a touchdown. Great tackle Ben. But the game isn't over and Payton Manning has the ball with plenty of time on the clock. Not good!!!!! They get into field goal range, again-not good. The game is going into overtime. What are the chances that Vanderjagt is going to miss - about the same as Bettis fumbling!!! The snap, the hold, the kick - what the heck??????? It's off, way off, to the right. Wahoo!!!! The Steelers have won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think they are going to win the Super Bowl. They can beat Denver, and Seattle (or Carolina).
Guess what I got my Ben Broussard CD. I am so happy! I have listened to it non-stop since I got it. He's really good!
79 more days till the Indians opening game. I can't wait to get there. I can't wait to see Casey play again. I am so excited. Just 79 long more days -and counting. |

What a week. Haven't really done much to talk about. Over the weekend, we went shopping. Had to go to the mall so I could go to my Indians store. I love that place. While we were out, we went to a movie, then went to Denny's for Dinner. What an experience that was. From the time we walked in the door they didn't like us, cause it was 10:00pm and there were 9 of us. That meant they had to put tables together, and they didn't want to do it. Took them 10 min. to get it done and they didn't even have to bus the table. About 15 minutes after we sat down, someone finally came over to get our drink orders - took her forever. When they brought the drinks over (took them 10 minutes to get drinks for 9 people), they put 2 or 3 drinks on the table then she dropped the drinks. Fortunately most of them fell without splashing too much, but some did get on my sisters coat. It wouldn't have been so bad except when she asked for some water to clean it off the lady told her "oh don't worry about it, it won't stain". How rude!!! To top it off they never apologized or offered to clean it up. After they got all the glasses picked up and got more drinks, they took our order. That went pretty well, except half the side dishes we ordered they said they were out of. She turned the order in and things were goin' good - we thought. 15 min. later she comes back and informes us that they were out of mashed potatoes. This is a 24hour dennys - how can you be out of 1/2 your food? Anyway, we got that taken care of (we thought) and she comes back 5 min. later to tell someone they also had ordered mashed potatoes. In the mean time everybody elses food is finally ready and sitting there. We got it 10 min. later. After we were served, she asked if we needed anything else. Nobody said anything, and all of a sudden she got mad and walked off. She came back with a small bowl of gravy that she had forgotten. I think it's kinda funny the things people get mad about. If anybody should have been mad it should have been us, but we stayed cool about it all. I had to call her over to get refills - the only ones we got all nite, and she got mad about that too. I would have understood better if the place was busy, but there were only 6 other customers there. She obviously got no tip.
Sunday - football. The Steelers and Bengals game was the only game I cared about. I am a Browns fan, but I absolutely love Ben Roethlisberger. During the first half I didn't think they were going to pull it off, but I should have known better. I wouldn't have wanted to be in that locker room at half-time with Bill Cower. I think they proved why when the came out and kicked butt in the 2nd half. But now they move on to play Indianapolis. That kinda scares me, but they can win.
Did you here? Some of the teams are looking at Tim Couch again!!! YEAAAA!!!
I heard Miami and Tennessee were lookin'. I'm glad he came back again, and I really hope someone picks him up. He was, and still is, my favorite quarterback. I think it was wrong how the Browns treated him, they really messed him up. They are doing a lot better protecting Charlie Frye (our Rookie), but I wish they would have done the same for Tim. He would be such an awesome quarterback right now, and the Browns might have made it to the Super Bowl by now. Hee Hee. One can only wish when you cheer for the Browns.
47 more days and counting till spring training starts. I can't wait. I just pray that they leave my Casey in right field and not move him to utility man. He is so great. He has been through so much to get to where he is right now and he really deserves to play. He deserves only the best. I have tickets to the opening game on April 7th. I can't wait to get back in the Jake and watch those guys play. I love all of them, but I will be so disappointed if my Casey isn't playing.
I'm bored right now, so I'm just babblin'. I'm also still anxiously waiting for my Ben Broussard CD to come. Supposed to be shipped tomorrow or Monday. I don't care when, I just want to listen to it.
I obviously don't have much to say, so I am closing for today. |

Today is a great day. It snowed last nite and it is so beautiful.
Football playoffs start tomorrow - I can't wait. I am a big time Browns fan, but I think i'm gonna have to cheer for the Steelers this time (shhhh, don't tell anyone). I love Ben Roethlisberger and Hines Ward. It would be kinda cool to see Cincinnati win it all. They've come a long way.
I am actually feeling anxious today. Football is great, but I love baseball. I can't wait till the season starts. I have tickets to the opening game on April 7th. I am to happy. Go Indians. The Cleveland Indians totally rock. Casey Blake is my favorite. He is so great. He always has a great attitude about everything, and he is so nice to the fans, not to mention what a great baseball player he is. I absolutely love him!!!!!! I am also waiting anxioulsy for my Ben Broussard CD to come. They said it would be here by now, then they changed it and said they aren't even shipping it till Jan 13 or 16. Aauugghhhh.
Well must go and clean my house. Will write more another day. |
